Rhinoplasty Case
This patient is shown four months after rhinoplasty performed to reduce a dorsal hump and refine the nasal tip. The goals of surgery were to create a smoother nasal bridge, lift and better define the tip, and improve overall facial balance while maintaining a natural appearance.
At this stage of healing, the nasal profile already appears softer and more refined. The hump has been reduced, the tip position has improved, and the nose looks more balanced with the patient’s facial features from both the front and profile views.
At four months after surgery, some swelling is still present in the tip area, which is completely normal during the rhinoplasty healing process. Tip swelling often takes longer to resolve because the skin and soft tissue in this area heal more gradually. As the swelling continues to decrease over the coming months, additional tip definition and refinement will become more visible.
This case highlights how rhinoplasty can improve nasal shape and profile balance through hump reduction and tip refinement while preserving a natural-looking result. Careful healing and patience remain important parts of achieving the final outcome.
