Rhinoplasty Case
This patient is shown four months after rhinoplasty performed to address a crooked nose, reduce the nasal bridge, refine the tip, and correct a deviated septum. The goals of surgery were both cosmetic and functional: to improve facial harmony while also improving nasal airflow and breathing.
In this case, the nasal bridge was reduced to create a smoother profile, the tip was lifted and refined for better definition, and the underlying nasal deviation was corrected to create a straighter appearance. At the same time, the deviated septum was repaired to improve breathing function.
At four months after surgery, there is already a noticeable improvement in nasal symmetry and profile balance. The bridge appears smoother, the tip is more refined, and the nose sits in better harmony with the patient’s facial features. Breathing has also improved following correction of the septal deviation.
Some swelling remains in the tip area, which is expected at this stage of healing. Tip swelling often resolves more slowly than swelling in other parts of the nose and will continue to improve over the coming months, revealing additional definition and refinement.
This case demonstrates how rhinoplasty can successfully address nasal crookedness, improve breathing, reduce a prominent bridge, and refine the nasal tip while maintaining a natural-looking result. Careful correction of both cosmetic and functional concerns is often key to achieving long-term patient satisfaction.
