Rhinoplasty for a Wide Nose and Broad Nasal Tip
Not every rhinoplasty is about dramatically changing the profile. In this case, the main concern was the width of the nose, with particular attention given to creating a narrower and more defined nasal tip.
Before surgery, the tip appeared broad and rounded from the front, contributing to greater overall nasal width. The rhinoplasty was planned to refine this area while maintaining proportions that remained appropriate for the patient’s natural facial features.
The immediate on-the-table result shows a more defined tip with reduced width and improved contour. From the front, the nose appears slimmer and the tip has clearer definition, while the profile views demonstrate that the refinement was achieved without creating an overly small or artificial-looking nose.
These photographs were taken immediately after surgery, so postoperative swelling, redness, and the surgical incisions are expected. The appearance shown here is therefore not the final rhinoplasty result. As swelling gradually resolves over the following months, the nasal tip should continue to become more defined.
The goal of nasal narrowing is not simply to make the nose smaller. Careful rhinoplasty aims to improve shape and proportion while preserving a nose that remains balanced with the rest of the face.
