Because nose surgery is a complicated procedure that can affect both your appearance and breathing, it’s important to choose your surgeon carefully. We do understand however that the cost of nose surgery (rhinoplasty) in Toronto is a significant factor when deciding whether to have the procedure. This page provides an overview of our fees and payment options.
To find more about the cost for rhinoplasty in Toronto, request a rhinoplasty consultation with Dr. Richard Rival at one of his three offices.
Rhinoplasty Cost
The cost of rhinoplasty varies depending on the extent of surgery required and facility costs. We recommend that our patients get several quotes from surgeons who perform facial cosmetic surgery in Toronto and decide for themselves who will be able to provide them with the best value. In our office, a non-refundable deposit of $1000 is taken upon booking a date. The balance of the fee must be paid 10 business days prior to surgery.
Insurance Considerations
In general, nose surgery done to improve breathing (septoplasty, turbinate reduction) is covered by provincial insurance for Ontario residents. We bill the government directly for this portion. You will be quoted a fee for the cosmetic portion of the surgery (rhinoplasty), if applicable. Nasal deformity as a result of recent trauma or congenital anomaly may sometimes be covered by your provincial insurance. This usually has to be pre-approved by your provincial insurance.
Payment Options
We offer a variety of options for payment, including: Visa, MasterCard, certified cheque, money order and debit. Third party financing is available through Medicard and Credit Medical.
Consultation Fees
The cost of our consultation is $100.00 + hst. If you elect to have digital imaging during your consultation the fee for digital imaging is an additional $200.00 + hst. The fee for digital imaging is applied towards the final cost of your procedure if you book it.
