Rhinoplasty Case
This woman had a rhinoplasty many years ago from less-experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in Toronto. Her first surgeon left her with retracted nostrils, a persistent dorsal hump, and an abnormally rounded tip. She came in for a consultation with Dr. Rival because she wanted to learn how she could achieve more pleasing results that would correct her nose shape and restore balance to her face.
Unlike many rhinoplasty surgeons, Dr. Rival is experienced in a variety of approaches that he can adapt to fit your needs. For this patient he recommended an extensive revision rhinoplasty to address a few different areas at once. Together, Dr. Rival and the patient planned a combined procedure to minimize the hump in the lower section of her nose, minimize and re-sculpt the tip of her nose, and if necessary slightly adjust the shape of her nostrils.
The patient is very happy with her results. Her rhinoplasty in Toronto progressed well, and the results complement her other features very well. Her nose length and projection are appropriate for her face, and the nose tip now has a much more balanced shape. Instead of drawing the eye downward away from her eyes, her nose harmonizes with the rest of her features for a look that is more attractive and confident.
