Rhinoplasty Case
This young woman had a rhinoplasty elsewhere and was unhappy with the outcome. She had a persistent hump on the bridge. The tip was droopy and asymmetric and the nose appeared crooked. It was noted that the left tip cartilage ( the lower lateral cartilage) was larger and hung down more than the right tip cartilage. This produced a very asymmetric tip which can be seen also from the base view looking up the nostrils. An external revision rhinoplasty was performed to correct these concerns. Results are shown about 6 months after surgery. The bump has been reduced and the tip has been lifted. Overall the nose is straighter and more symmetric. A well healed external rhinoplasty incision can be seen in the basal view.
