Throughout my career as a facial plastic surgeon in Toronto and internationally, I’ve dedicated much of my training to rhinoplasty. That’s why I’ve decided to start a blog where patients who are considering cosmetic nose surgery can learn about the latest developments in this complex and ever-changing procedure.
The patients I see in Toronto for rhinoplasty represent diverse backgrounds and often pose unique cosmetic challenges. A nose job is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures, yet it requires a surgeon who combines excellent technical skill with the aesthetic sense needed to provide balance and harmony to a patient’s face.
In subsequent blog posts, I will address issues I often encounter at my practice. Those will include:
- Revision rhinoplasty: Unfortunately, not all patients get the results they want. I specialize in revision rhinoplasty and see patients with a range of post-surgical issues.
- Ethnic rhinoplasty: What is ethnic rhinoplasty? Is specialized training needed to perform nose jobs on patients from different ethnic backgrounds?
- Non-surgical rhinoplasty: Is a “liquid nose job” the real deal?
- Functional rhinoplasty: Patients who have trouble breathing often get relief from rhinoplasty.
I aim to make this blog a special kind of resource for my patients, providing different information than what they might find on my rhinoplasty website. This is a forum where I will share candid advice, talk about news in the field, and give more in-depth detail on a range of subjects.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Please check back often for updates.
