Case 52
This young man had previous rhinoplasty elsewhere and had some nasal trauma in the past. His nose was deviated and internally he had a major deviation of his septum blocking his breathing passage. He had a persistent bump on the lower part of the bridge. The tip was very over projected with long excessive show of the nostrils. An external rhinoplasty was performed to straighten the nose and improve his breathing. The post operative photos now show the nose is straight. The tip has been set back and the nostrils reduced. The bump on the lower part of the bridge…

Case 68
This young woman had a rhinoplasty elsewhere and was unhappy with the outcome. She had a persistent hump on the bridge. The tip was droopy and asymmetric and the nose appeared crooked. It was noted that the left tip cartilage ( the lower lateral cartilage) was larger and hung down more than the right tip cartilage. This produced a very asymmetric tip which can be seen also from the base view looking up the nostrils. An external revision rhinoplasty was performed to correct these concerns. Results are shown about 6 months after surgery. The bump has been reduced and the…

Case 8
This Toronto area patient had a previous rhinoplasty done elsewhere many years ago. She was displeased with her pitched overprojected tip and had difficulty breathing. Revision rhinoplasty was performed using an external approach. The front view shows softening of her nasal tip and from the side the nose has been set back closer to the face. The view from below shows some widening of the nostrils that also helped her breathing. It also shows an example of the external approach incision at an early healing phase (1month) where redness can still be seen- this will fade with time. Gender: Female

Case 81
This young woman presented for septorhinoplasty. Her main concern was that the nose was not straight and was very asymmetric. She also had difficulty breathing. Her before photos reveal a very difficult nose that is extremely deviated and asymmetric . There is a large depression on the right side of the tip. The profile view shows that the nose is somewhat overprojected. The view from below shows severe nostril asymmetry. An external septorhinoplasty was performed to straighten the deviated septum and tip. A graft of cartilage taken from the nasal septum was used to fill in the depression on the…
